Professional Winery Orders and Quotes

For professional wineries, yeast slurries are available in quantities to inoculate 200, 400, 600, or 800 gallons. Yeast slurries take three weeks for propagation and QC testing, so pre-orders are recommended. In some cases the yeast, if already being propagated, came be shipped sooner. During crush, or at other times, we suggest writing us and asking about availability. We will contact you by email to confirm your order with total costs, including shipping fees. Yeast slurries are shipped over-night to insure viability.

If you are a new customer, call 1-888-5-Yeast-5 or click here for a new customer form, or fill out the form below for a quote. We will provide you with full information, including costs.

MicroQit Detect (price: $95)
"Dipstick approach to detecting Brettanomyces"
This kit is one of the easiest-to-use and most affordable in-house units for detecting Brettanomyces in wine and must. Each $95 kit comes with 16 different plates and can be refrigerated for up to one year before use. You simply dip the cotton end of an applicator into wine and wipe in a Z-patter on one of the 16 plates that come with each kit. The plates are then incubated for about a week and compared to photos that come with each kit. The readings will give you both a qualitative and a semi-quantitative level of detection. This kit offers an easy and ideal way to detect Brettanomyces in barrels and tanks before filling. This kit is produced by Prahl Biolab in Denmark.
