  • Purpose:

Chill Haze is when proteins and polyphenols clump together when a beer is chilled. By mimicking one month of shelf life, both fresh and abused chill haze can be monitored.

Testing: In this analysis one bottle is heated for one week to mimic one month of shelf life. Using Anton Paar's HazeQC ME Turbidity Meter, chill haze is analyzed at 4C and reported from fresh and abused bottles.
