Complete Microbiological Analysis
- Purpose:
To detect beer spoiling bacteria and yeast such as Lactobacillus, Brettanomyces, Acetobacter sp, Pediococcus and more. This testing does not detect potential food pathogens such as E. Coli or Salmonella. (See our LS6615 Non-Alcoholic Beer Microbiological Testing for food pathogens)
Testing: Samples are plated on American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC) approved media to identify spoilage organisms. The service also includes a gram stain and the identification of any contaminants via microscopy. LS6705 Genetic identification can be added for an additional cost.
For Kombucha microbiological testing, check out LS6725 Mixed Culture Isolations.
