"My favorite farmhouse yeast"
By: Dain C | Date: Jan 9, 2018 | Beer(s) Brewed: Farmhouse IPA, Hopped Cider
This is the best farmhouse yeast I've tried. It's great for farmhouse IPAs with fruity characters, if you like boulevard tank 7, or Ommegang Hennepin, this will get you close. I also use this in a hopped cider and it's perfect.
"One Week in Primary???"

So I just fermented a saison with this strain and reached a FG of 1.012 in just 9 days??? I wasn't aware that that was even possible ... The beer is now conditioning with some apricot puree and some Citra dry hop action. Hopefully the short primary period won't end up hurting my chances of getting some of that funk action in bottle conditioning.

I have now brewed a couple of farmhouse ales based on a recipe of a Tank 7 clone. Kept them in glass secondary for about 2.5 months before dryhopping and bottling. Final gravity always stayed high around 1.012. No bottle bombs yet.
Recently drank a one year old bottle. It was amongst the best beers i have ever had! If you can manage to wait this strain is very recommendable!
