    Acetaldehyde is a byproduct of fermentation. Aroma is usually described as
    green apple, apple skin, paint, and pumpkin rind. Acetaldehyde, a precursor to ethanol, can be used as an indicator of unfinished fermentation or unhealthy yeast cells. It is highly recommended to send in a control sample to compare with tested sample.
