Beer Titratable Acidity

  • Purpose:

    Beer Titratable Acidity is an approximation of total acidity of a solution. This estimate includes both associated and disassociated hydrogen.

    The most common acid in beer is Lactic Acid, therefore results will be reported as an estimation of all TA in % Lactic Acid or g/L as Lactic Acid.

    TA is also a better indicator for perceived sourness than pH.
