January - March
WLP077 Tropicale Yeast Blend
This is a blend of non-GMO yeast strains that have been carefully selected to aid in the release of bound thiol compounds by targeting high enzymatic B-lyase activity. Providing a balance of tropical flavors and aromas, such as passionfruit, grapefruit, and mango, that’s perfect for a juicy, hazy IPA!
WLP561 Non STA1son Ale Yeast
This blend of STA1 negative strains produces a complex expression of esters and phenols great for saison and farmhouse-style beers without the potential for super-attenuation commonly associated with many Belgian-style strains.
WLP835 German X Lager Yeast
Classic yeast from a famous Bavarian monastery. This strain develops a creamy, malty beer profile with low sulfur production and low esters. It is a great choice for styles like traditional helles, Oktoberfest, bock, and dunkel.
April - June
WLP003 German Ale II
A great strain for clean ales such as kölsch, altbier, and German-style pale ales. It has a strong sulfur component that will reduce with conditioning. Lager-like in flavor, this strain ferments clean and produces subdued fruity esters which are more present than WLP029 German/Kölsch Ale Yeast.
WLP631 Appalachian Tart
This specialty blend of Kveik yeast and Lactobacillus sp. has been designed to create a unique co-ferment of yeast and bacteria, resulting in a mildly fruity and tart beer. Fermenting with both yeast and bacteria at the same time provides a faster and cleaner souring profile.
WLP885 Zurich Lager Yeast
A Swiss-style lager yeast that with proper care can be used to produce lagers over 11% ABV. Sulfur and diacetyl production is minimal.
July - September
WLP091 Best Coast Hazy Ale Yeast Blend
When used in conjunction with new-world modern hops, this blend produces amazing hazy beers by accentuating hop aroma reminiscent of fresh citrus and tropical fruit.
WLP520 Sigmund Kveik Ale YeastSigmund is a Kveik strain shared by Sigmund Gjernes from Voss, Norway. Also known as Voss Kveik, this strain can produce earthy-like flavors with a touch of orange peel aromas.
WLP815 Belgian Lager Yeast
A clean, crisp European lager yeast with low sulfur production. This strain originates from a very old brewery in west Belgium. Great for European-style pilsners, dark lagers, Vienna lagers, and American-style lagers.
October - December
WLP009 Australian Ale YeastThis yeast produces a clean, malty beer with pleasant ester characters that can be described as “bready.” It ferments successfully and cleanly at higher temperatures, combined with good flocculation and good attenuation.
WLP515 Anterp Ale Yeast
Clean, almost lager-like Belgian type ale yeast. Good for Belgian type pale ales and amber ales, or with blends to combine with other Belgian type yeast strains. Biscuit, ale-like aroma present. Hop flavors and bitterness are accentuated. Slight sulfur will be produced during fermentation, which can give the yeast a lager-like flavor profile.
WLP845 Fast Lager YeastUse this strain when you need a lager sooner rather than later. Low sulfur production and medium flocculation characteristics
